Over the years, Reader, I've recognized one very important thing: My mom is *almost* always right. I know that's not the case for everyone. Believe me, I've tested the hypothesis with mine. We don't agree on everything. But when I'm struggling to decide the next thing to do, or feeling out of sync with my superpower space, she's got the right answer. She understands who I am and how I want to succeed in work and life. Now, I'm not a mom. But I do get excited when I can help you create more success on your terms, too. So as Mother's Day approaches, here are a few thoughts I'd share with you, learned from my mom. Go here now to read "What Mom Taught Me About Work" How 'bout you, Reader? What's the best advice you got from your mom or the mom-like people in your life, past or present? Love to hear about it. Hit REPLY and tell me your story. Happy Mom's Day to all the moms and mom-adjacent out there, not just the ones we're born to, but also those we choose and who choose us. Thanks for all the advice, care, and love that help us all continue to soar. Always, Darcy (aka Joyce's daughter) P.S. If it's time to plan a special energizing event for your team or professional association, let's talk! We're booking both in-person and online speaking opportunities for late summer and fall, and I'd love to come visit your company or group. Start here to schedule time to talk with me about your meeting, conference, or special event. I can't wait to see you soon (and I might bring my mom)! --D |
